Funko has ensured that Wakanda will live on forever with it’s wide range of Black Panther Funko Pops.
Due to the how recent the movie was released, the Black Panther Pops are simply stunning. The detailing that has gone into the designs, particularly the suits, is absolutely incredible.
Before you look at the list, there was a cool promotional video released by Funko showing of the second wave of Black Panther Funko Pops. Check it out!
Black Panther Funko Pop Chase – Top Pick
This is the Black Panther Pop chase variant (#273). Just like the Erik Killmonger chase variant (#278), this Pop is a masked version.
Annoyingly, this is a Chase version – I honestly can’t believe Funko didn’t make this the standard, but hey, their business decisions are beyond me.
T’Challa wore this Black Panther suit on his last fight scene with Erik Killmonger.
You can never go wrong with the black and silver color combination, making the Pop more attractive. You can see all the sculpted details on the helmet and on the body, which are incredibly intricate. I really like the silver panther claw details on the legs and in the feet.

Gold Chrome Shuri Funko Pop NYCC Exclusive
First in our list and the latest Black Panther Pop to be released is the gold chrome Shuri (#393).
Shuri has had the gold treatment (and rightfully so) as part of a New York Comic Con exclusive, so getting your hands on this one will prove difficult.
I go into more detail on Shuri further down the page.
M’Baku Funko Pop
Next up, the leader of the vegetarian Jabari Tribe, the M’Baku Funko Pop (#388). We all know that he tried to take the throne from King T’Challa because he opposes the idea of using vibranium technology; but eventually, he helped him gain control of Wakanda when Erik Killmonger took the throne.
The idea on this Black Panther Pop design is based on the scene when the Queen Mother asked help from M’Baku to revive King T’Challa because he lost from his fight with Erik Killmonger.
This Funko Pop looks like a complete badass with his chest tattoos and obviously, Funko got every detail of that tattoo. They also didn’t miss the texture and colour of his grass skirt and the furry cape, arm, and leg wrap.

Ulysses Klaue Funko Pop
How can Funko miss out Ulysses Klaue with his sonic disruptor arm Funko Pop (#387).
Ulysses Klaue is one of the villains in the Black Panther movie and is known to be the black-market arms dealer, gangster, and international criminal. He was then betrayed and murdered by Erik Killmonger.
This Black Panther Funko Pop is simple but Funko did a nice work with all the prints of his tattoo at the back of his head up to his arms. It appears that this Pop also has a stylish hair with some gray parts because of his age and the same thing with his beard. See what they did in his arms with the laser gun? It looks like it will shoot out vibranium lasers anytime because of the intricate details they’ve done with it.

Erik Killmonger Funko Pop
This Erik Killmonger Funko Pop (#386) is part of the second wave of the Black Panther Funko Pop line.
He’s a black ops soldier with a Wakandan origin. Funko based this design on the scene when Erik Killmonger won over T’Challa and claimed the throne. It is so fascinating that Funko is so keen on the details in this Pop that they did not miss a single part of his numerous scars in his chest; each scar represents someone he has killed. And yes, you can feel the rough texture of the scars in this Black Panther Pop.

Okoye Funko Pop Exclusive to NYCC
Okoye is T’Challa’s best soldier and also a close friend and confidant. She is the leader of the Dora Milaje, the all-female special forces of Wakanda.
This Okoye Funko Pop (#385) is part of the shared Fall Convention Exclusive (New York Comic Con 2018) Funko Pop line. Okoye wears this red evening dress to disguise and blend in with the gangsters and their dates when they went to apprehend Ulysses Klaue. This scene was really hilarious and good thing Funko thought of a Pop from that scene. I like the idea that Funko made the hair removable since it was really a wig. Her vibranium spear is highly detailed with all the shiny gold rings around it.
Knowing the exclusivity of this Black Panther Funko Pop, you better get it once when you find one because as we all know, exclusive Funko Pops are hard to get hold of.

Gold Chrome Black Panther Funko Pop
This reissued Black Panther Gold Chrome Pop (#383) is part of the Marvel Studios 10th anniversary Funko Pop line.
This Black Panther Pop design really deserved the special gold chrome treatment. Why gold? Because for me, gold symbolizes a decade of creating the finest and the grandest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Venomised Black Panther Funko Pop
This Venomised Black Pather Pop (#370) is a GameStop exclusive Pop.
Compared to the other Black Panther Funko Pops in this list and the Venom Funko Pops, it’s an ok Pop, though not the best.
Whilst the body is pretty uninspiring (not even a Venom symbol on the chest?), the head does make up for it with the white eyes, razor teeth and flicking tongue.
The paint job on this Pop is matte, making it more prone to light visible scratches – so be careful when handling it.

T’Challa Funko Pop
The inspiration for this T’Challa Black Panther Funko Pop (#352) is from the emotional Lion King-like scene when T’Challa was talking to his father, T’Chaka in the Ancestral Plain.
This scene made almost everyone weep because of its very powerful and awe-inspiring setting.
This Pop is fairly simple with its white robe and I like the intricacy of the design in the silver details in his robe. They also got the silver accent in his sleeves. Funko did a good job with the details on the hands and feet.

T’Challa Funko Pop
This T’Challa Black Panther Pop (#354) in a black robe made its debut in the movie when T’Challa visited Shuri to discuss the various tech gadgets that he can bring with him when he takes on Ulysses Klaue in Korea.
The style of this Funko Pop has no difference from the T’Challa in white robe Pop (#352). It has the same pose, facial expression, hair, style of the robe and the intricate design in the chest and sleeves. The only obvious difference it has is the colour of the robe.

Black Panther Funko Pop Exclusive to Target
Of course, Funko will never forget to produce the classic 1966 first appearance Black Panther Funko Pop (#314). This Marvel Black Panther Pop is a Target exclusive Funko Pop released in 2018. I wonder why it took Funko a while to release this classic Marvel Pop?
This Black Panther Funko Pop (#314) design first appeared in the Fantastic Four #54, 1966 comic. It has the iconic pose of the Black Panther. The eyes in this Pop is slightly different from the standard Pop, with the colour being white instead of black.
The details of this Black Panther suit are simple compared to the one that was made in the movie, however it is the addition of the awesome cape that sets this apart from everything else in the list.

Erik Killmonger Funko Pop Exclusive to Walmart
Next up in the Black Panther Pop list, is the Erik Killmonger Walmart exclusive Funko Pop (#279).
This suit is known as the Golden Jaguar suit, that was originally made for T’Challa. It made its first appearance in the final fight scene in the Black Panther movie. The entire suit is compressed into the necklace, which was Shuri’s brilliant idea.
The paint job on this Funko Pop is on point. I love how they executed the gold lines in the suit, a lot of detailing has gone into presenting the line work in the body. Funko have also done a fantastic job realising all the additional intricacies in Erik Killmonger’s weapon, the spear, and the leaf-shaped sword.
This Funko Pop is also glow in the dark making it extra cool.
Killmonger Funko Pop Chase
Another Erik Killmonger Funko Pop (#278) is this chase variant. This look was seen when Erik Killmonger challenged T’Challa for the first time to claim his rights for the throne, but I think the weapon in this Pop is not the same on what he used in the movie.
This Funko Pop is wearing the Dogon Mask that he stole from the Museum of Great Britain. The horns look excellent with the cream colour. He also wears a common army tactical suit, with the details in the torso having some militaristic type of aspect to it.
The gunmetal paint job on his body armor plate is great, and it has all the belts and buckles in the body. As for the belt, it has a couple of grenades and a handgun that is holstered. The details on his pants are intricate, with the camouflage and military green.
Just like the Erik Killmonger Walmart Exclusive Pop (#279), he carries the same weapon, the spear, and the leaf-shaped sword.

Erik Killmonger Funko Pop
This Erik Killmonger Funko Pop (#278) is the unmasked version the chase variant. What I find unique with this Pop is the very cool hairstyle with a short dread on the top of the head and is brushed to the side.

Nakia is King T’Challa’s romantic partner and is a member of Wakanda’s River Tribe, and a first-class spy.

Shuri Funko Pop
Shuri or Princess Shuri is the sister of King T’Challa. She’s funny, intelligent and speaks on what’s on her mind and is a highly skilled engineer and scientist, making her the mastermind of all the tech that Wakanda has.
This Shuri Funko Pop (#276) is a standard Pop vinyl figure of the Black Panther Funko Pop line. Her outfit here appeared on the last fight scene of the Black Panther movie.
She has a paint pattern in her face that draws attention to her eye. The details on her hair are very interesting. I find her hairstyle unique and intricate with all the shaved parts at the back, the tail on the side, dreads, and braids.
She’s also wearing the vibranium gauntlet, which has the details of a panther head. They did a great job with the gauntlet with all in-depth details with the fangs and panther mouth They got all the details in her body including her skirt wrap with a buckle.
Funko knows their stuff when it comes to details. They didn’t fail us with this one.

Okoye Funko Pop
Here is another Okoye Funko Pop. This Okoye Funko Pop (#275) is a Funko Shop Exclusive.
This Pop got its inspiration on the final fight scene of the Black Panther movie. The artwork on this Pop is unbelievable. They got all the intricate details in her outfit, especially her tabard. She also holds her spear made of vibranium.

Warrior Falls Black Panther Funko Pop
This Black Panther Warrior Falls Funko Pop (#274) is seen on the “Challenge Day” of Wakanda. It is when M’Baku challenged King T’Challa for a fight.
This Black Panther Pop has excellent sculpt work on his helmet with a lot of great details in the mask. The leathery look and detail on the mask plus the stitch make it very interesting, with it being textured and not painted on. The panther teeth necklace has also great details. A lot of gold accents, on the belt, arms, and ankle.
The paint job on the tattoo part is good but not excellent though, which is a bit of a shame, but this is nit-picking!

Blue Glow In The Dark Black Panther Funko Pop Exclusive to Target
Another exclusive is this glow in the dark Black Panther Walmart exclusive Pop (#273).
Just like the Erik Killmonger glow in the dark Funko Pop (#279), this Pop has great details and it’s good that Funko changed the color of the details in the suit giving it a different vibe from the Erik Killmonger GITD Pop variant.
This Pop looks like the chase variant but with the blue colour in the eyes and in the body. The contrast of the blue, silver and black looks amazing. Even with the blue paint on the mask, you can still see the mask carvings. As you would expect, the body sculpt looks fantastic with detailing all over.
One of the best in the list.

Black Panther Funko Pop
Compared to the Chase and Target exclusive versions of the Black Panther #273, this perhaps falls a bit short in terms of design.
It has the same body as the ones above, though as you can see, T’Challa is unmasked. Detailing on the beard and hair are great, but the other two steal the show.

Black Panther Funko Pop (Civil War)
This is the first Black Panther to be released as a Funko Pop, which comes from the Captain America Civil War Funko Pop line.
As you would expect, the Black Panther Pop (#130) is by no means as good as the latest options shown above, however it still retains the detail in the contouring of the suit.

Glitter Black Panther Funko Pop Exclusive to Walmart
Last but not the least, here’s a Walmart exclusive Captain America: Civil War – Black Panther Funko Pop (#130) (whew, that’s a long intro).
This Pop is part of the Captain America: Civil War Funko Pop line. It’s glittered or known as “Onyx Glitter”. Again, the details on this Pop are not as intricate as the Black Panther Funko Pop line, but it’s still beautiful because it’s shiny and shimmery.
